business in Bermeo in 1890, with the desire to preserve and transport
the delicious freshness and flavour of the products of the Cantabrian
Sea to the farthest corners of the world.
The excellent quality of the fish helped him to implant new preservation
techniques, especially from France, allowing his products to penetrate
European markets rapidly.
From 1914 onwards he also exported to the North American market and
then extended throughout Latin America.
After over 100 years in business, always combining the traditional methods
of preparing the fish products using the most advanced industrial technology

S.A. are continuing his work and are delighted to maintain the trust
