General Information

To all affected, orders placed online at www.serrats.com are purchases executed by Hijos de José Serrats, S.A.

Any client making a purchase at www.serrats.com accepts the terms and conditions of the purchase. No provision made by the customer may differ from them unless it has been expressly agreed in advance and in writing by Hijos de José Serrats, S.A.

A purchase is not final until it is accepted by Hijos de José Serrats, S.A., which reserves the right of admission and cancellation of any order and can return the amount paid by the customer and shall be exempt from any further obligation.

What steps must be followed to place an order?

Once you have selected the products desired, verify that your "Shopping Cart" is accurate, and click the "Checkout" button. This will begin the 5 step purchase process.

  • In the first step you will see a summary of your shopping cart along with any associated shipping costs. Verify that the products and quantities are accurate and make any final changes to your chopping cart now. Any products placed in your shopping cart will be saved for a total of 2 hours.
  • Once you have verified that you have all the products you desire click on the button to proceed to the next step, and the registration page will appear. If you are already registered login here and if you are a new user please fill out the following form at the right-hand part of the page.
  • Upon beginning the second step, please verify that your shipping address is correct and that any alternative addresses (you can store 3 different addresses) you want the order sent to are correct as well. You can also request an invoice, if would like to request an invoice please fill out the form at the bottom left of the page. And if you have included a gift box in your purchase, you can have a greeting card personalized to include in the gift box.
  • The next step is selecting the payment method you would like to use. You can also check to make sure your order is accurate, one final time, before making your payment, and if you have a special promotional code you can input it here.
  • Once the payment has been made, you will be taken to an order confirmation page.

Payment Method

There are two types of payment methods accepted on our website.:

  • Credit/Debit Card: The payment is immediate and the order is prepared to be shipped immediately. You can select any credit/debit card you wish to use when you are finalizing your order. When making your payment you will be taken to a secure website that any information submitted will only be accessible by you and the bank that has issued your card.
  • PayPal.
  • Bank Transfer: If you prefer to use this method, you have to complete the entire order process and when your payment method has been selected, you will see a page with the different bank accounts you can make your payment to (this information will also be sent to your email address).

    In this case, Conservas Serrats will not be able to ship your order until the bank confirms the transfer (usually 2 or 3 days). If you wish to speed up this process you can send your payment confirmation via these 2 options: E-mail: conservas@serrats.com / Fax: 946 881 151

Shipping timeline

Once the payment has been received, the approximate timeline is between:

  • Peninsula: 2 business days
  • Canaries and Baleares: 2 to 6 business days
  • Europe: 2 to 8 business days

The products will be considered received when the transport company makes them available to the client and the confirmation document has been signed.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is 5€ per order. Any order over € will be free.

These prices are only applicable to shipping within Spain (Peninsula). For any shipments to the Canary Islands, Baleares or to international destinations contact us via telephone or email to determine the cost of shipping.

Stock Outs

At www.serrats.com we only have products in stock available for purchase. Unfortunately the synchronization between our warehouse and our website is not instantaneous, so on rare occasions a product may be ordered when it is out of stock.

When it is not possible to fulfil an order because a product is out of stock, Hijos de José Serrats, S.A., will contact the client to modify or cancel the order and will provide a full and immediate refund for the products that cannot be shipped.

Quality and Service Guarantee

  • All of our products are identified throughout the entire productions process and guaranteed against any product defect.
  • All of our products and orders have a security seal to guarantee their condition.
  • All of our products are insured against any losses or damaged that occurs during transportation. If any items are missing or damaged, mark the errors in the delivery note of the transport company. We will then quickly replace your order.

Limitations of Responsibility

Hijos de José Serrats, S.A. is not responsible for any content on other websites that sell our products or services and is not responsible for the content of the websites that we provide a link to.

The prices, characteristics, and availability of the products listed www.serrats.com can vary without warning.

The parties involved will not incur liability for any failure due to any force majeure. The fulfilment of the obligation will be delayed until the cessation of the force majeure.

Resolution of Conflicts

The party submits, at its option, to resolve conflicts and renouncing any other jurisdiction, to the courts of the user. Also, as an entity adhering to CONFIANZA ONLINE and the terms of its Code of Ethics, in case of disputes relating to recruitment and online advertising, data protection, child protection and accessibility, the user can go to system for the settlement of disputes provided by CONFIANZA ONLINE.
