General rules

For all purposes, orders placed in the online store www.serrats.com are purchases made from Hijos de José Serrats, S.A.

 

Making a purchase at www.serrats.com implies acceptance by the customer of these conditions. No stipulation made by the client may differ from them if it has not been expressly accepted in advance and in writing by Hijos de José Serrats, S.A.

 

A purchase is not final until Hijos de José Serrats accept it, S.A., who reserves the right to accept and cancel any order, being able to return the amount paid by the customer and being exempt from any other obligation.

What steps should I follow to place an order?

Once you have chosen the products you want to buy, the "My basket" icon will appear, where you will see a button called "Complete purchase". If you click on it, it will take you to the purchasing process in the following steps.

  • First, you will have to identify yourself as a client if you have already registered previously. If not, the system will ask you to register.
  • Next, you will go to the “Check Out”:
  • On this page, you will be able to check the shipping address provided, as well as the possibility of sending to an alternative address (the user has the possibility of saving up to 3 different alternative addresses).
  • You can also choose the payment method (by transfer, card, Bizum or pay pal)
  • In addition, there will be the possibility of requesting an invoice. To do this, it would be necessary to provide the data for the invoice in the form shown at the bottom left of the page.
  • Also on this page, you will see a summary of the products you are going to purchase and before making the payment, the possibility of redeeming a promotional code is also offered, if you have one.
  • If you have chosen a Gift Box, there will be the possibility of writing a message to include a personalized card in it. • Also the possibility of making a comment about the order, about the delivery.
  • Finally, by clicking on the MAKE PURCHASE button, the purchase will be made. In the case of payment by Bizum, card or Pay Pal, the system automatically takes you to the bank's page, where HIJOS DE SERRATS, S.A. does not have access. The bank then, using a code that it returns to us, tells us that the operation is authorized or not.
  • At this time, an email is automatically sent to the customer confirming that their order has been successfully placed.

Way to pay

There are four payment methods when placing an order on our website:

  • Payment by card: Payment and shipping is immediate. It is possible to make payment through any credit or debit card, choosing it at the last moment of placing the order. When making the payment, you will enter a secure area of the Internet, where your data cannot be recorded by anyone except the bank.
  • Bizum.
  • PayPal.
  • Payment by transfer: f you prefer to use this method, you must complete the entire order process and as soon as the payment by transfer is confirmed, a thank you page will appear showing the different bank accounts in which you can make the payment. (This information will also be sent to you by email along with the confirmation of your purchase).

In this case, it must be taken into account that Conservas Serrats will not process the order until the bank confirms the transfer (2 or 3 days). If you wish to expedite said shipment, you can advance proof of payment by sending it using any of these two options: E-mail: conservas@serrats.com

Shipping and delivery time

Once payment for the merchandise has been confirmed, approximately the delivery times are as follows:

  • Spain- peninsular territory: 2 business days
  • Balearic Islands: 2 to 6 business days
  • Europe: 2 to 8 business days.

Delivery will be considered made when the carrier has made the products available to the customer and the customer has signed the delivery receipt document. There are “peak” times of the year, such as “black Friday” or the Christmas period, where these deadlines can be extended due to excess activity of transport agencies.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are €4.90 per shipment. From €150 in products, shipping is FREE.

The prices correspond to shipments within Spain (Peninsula). For shipments to the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands and international destinations, consult the rates either by email or by calling us by phone.

Guarantee on quality and service

  • All our products have guarantee against any manufacturing defect.
  • All orders and products carry their security seal to guarantee their content.
  • All our shipments are insured against possible losses or breakages caused during transport. In the case of breakage or missing products, it must be stated on the carrier's delivery note. We guarantee the replacement of the order.

Product Satisfaction Guarantee

If you don't love them, we'll pick them up for free.

 

We are convinced that as soon as you try our preserves, you will love them, but if that is not the case, we are willing to collect them from you and refund the price. You have 15 calendar days from when you receive the product to return a box of preserves. It will be necessary that at most only one can or jar of it has been opened. For example, if you purchase a Box of 12 jars of Bonito del Norte in olive oil, it will be necessary to return the remaining 11 units that have not been opened.

 

To return it, call us at 94 6187280 and we will send a courier to collect the merchandise.

 

As soon as we have received the returned box at Conservas Serrats and verified that everything is in order, we will proceed to refund the total price of said box, returning the full amount of the order, including shipping costs.

Out of stock

At www.serrats.com, we only sell products in stock. However, the synchronization of the website with our warehouse is not instantaneous. Furthermore, in the period between a customer placing an order on the portal until we receive it and process proof of payment, some products may be out of stock. For this reason, due to lack of stock, exceptionally, we would not be able to serve any orders.

 

When it is not possible to serve a product due to lack of stock, Hijos de José Serrats, S.A. will contact the customer to inform them and modify or cancel the order, returning their money immediately by bank transfer.

Limitation of liability

Hijos de José Serrats, S.A. is not responsible for the contents of other web pages that market our products or those linked to this site.

 

Prices, features and availability of products displayed on www.serrats.com may vary without prior notice.

 

The parties will not incur liability for any failure due to a major cause. Compliance with the obligation will be delayed until the case of force majeure ceases.

Dispute resolution

The parties submit, at their option, for the resolution of conflicts and waiving any other jurisdiction, to the courts and tribunals of the user's domicile. Likewise, as an entity attached to CONFIANZA ONLINE and in the terms of its Code of Ethics, in case of disputes related to online contracting and advertising, data protection and protection of minors, the user may resort to the extrajudicial dispute resolution system of CONFIANZA ONLINE.
