We live in harmony with our environment and take care of what surrounds us because we truly care. We are concerned about finding new solutions that are even more sustainable and responsible, maintaining the history and tradition of things well done for generations.

We care about the seas of today, but especially those of tomorrow.

We have the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) chain of custody certificate, which guarantees that products identified with the MSC blue seal come from a certified sustainable fishery.

Fisheries must comply with three principles: maintain sustainable fishing stocks, minimize the environmental impacts of fishing activity, good management that allows you to react effectively to continue complying with the rules if the situation changes.

At Conservas Serrats we have been working for some time in different areas to minimize the environmental impact of our activity and to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and ensuring the sustainability of our seas.

We are active members of 'Bermeo Tuna World Capital', to promote sustainable management of tuna as a natural resource globally through scientific knowledge and leadership in good practices.

#ReciclaConSerrats

We promote actions to collaborate in ecological awareness, for example, the #ReciclaConSerrats recycling contest. It consists of reusing the canned food containers giving them a new use, in addition to raising awareness about the correct classification of our garbage to deposit it in the appropriate containers.

Resaltun Project

Pioneers in offering an innovative and environmentally sustainable solution that allows, on the one hand, recovering a clean brine in conditions of reuse and, on the other hand, the valorization of the protein concentrate obtained, for its use as an animal nutrition ingredient or for the production of biofertilizers.
