Cantabrian Anchovies are one of our specialties; we have been making them by hand since 1890. Everyone who tries our perfectly clean and “shaved” anchovy fillets repeats the experience. It is the Engraulis Encrasicholus fished in the Cantabrian Sea in spring, between April and June. The queen of the house!

The Sea Urchin is becoming more and more known and valued on our tables. It offers us an authentic taste of the sea. The Galician journalist, writer and comedian, Julio Camba, said, “There is no seafood that synthesizes the sea in such a perfect way.” If you have not tried it yet, you should.

Our canned sardines “txikis” are small in size and of a quality. As tender as they are tasty, we prepare and pack the sardines by hand in the traditional way. They are all covered in olive oil with a special touch. Discover all the flavors!

These Anchovies in vinegar from the Cantabrian Sea, “Engraulis Encrasicholus”, have been caught in the Bay of Biscay in spring, between April and June. We have prepared them with all possible care, so that their loins look soft and white. As a final touch, we added our classic artisanal vinaigrette. Simply delicious!

What is our secret? Be very demanding with the raw materials. At Serrats, we collect the Cockles, one by one, in the Galician Rías, and we handcraft them with all the care that this precious product requires.
