LAGUNAK, “friends” Gift Box

A gathering of friends inspires this selection of Serrats products. It could be at home, at a dining society, or even on a picnic outside. The place does not matter, because what it is about is getting together, plating in a big way and enjoying.

The LAGUNAK Gift Box is made up of a selection of the best-canned Cantabrian Sea: Albacore Tuna Loins and Belly in olive oil, Cantabrian Anchovy fillets, large Mussels, Small Sardines, and finally an exclusive bottle of Txakoli Itsasmendi wine.

Albacore Tuna belly. This "Thunnus Alalunga" is caught, one by one, in the waters of the Cantabrian Sea during the summer. The Belly is the lower zone of the tuna, the juiciest and with the softest texture. It is located in the lower part of the fish, in the area closest to the head. A luxury preserve.

In addition to the belly, this box includes a bottle of delicious Albacore Tuna loins. Always made by hand in an artisan way, to which we add a mild olive oil to maintain its genuine and delicate flavor.

For the elaboration of our canned Anchovies from the Bay of Biscay, we only use the highest quality anchovy, the Engraulis Encrasicholus, caught in spring and in the Cantabrian Sea. Freshly brought from the market, we salt them and after a few months, when they have acquired their characteristic brown color, we take them out and clean them by hand meticulously. Perfectly clean and "shaved" we cover them with soft olive oil. A delicious delicacy

Mussels, collected at their optimum moment, when they have reached the desired size. Accompanied by our traditional pickle sauce, our mussels stand out for their magnificent flavor and presentation: perfectly clean, bright and tasty mussels.

Fresh Sardines, small pieces of great quality. Cut, headless and cleaned by hand, they are steamed roasted and packed in olive oil. The time elapsed between the capture and the preservation is minimal, thus ensuring a product that keeps all its richness and properties intact.

<>These preserves do not have any preservatives or additives. Only the fresh fish bought at the market when the boats disembark in port, to which we add an exclusive olive oil. Of the highest quality and with a mild flavor so that it does not mask the taste of the sea.

This neighboring winery, located in the heart of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, has a lot to do with us. They firmly believe in what they do and pamper their products to the extreme. This Txakoli Itsasmendi wine was awarded the BACO DE PLATA prize and is the result of a blend of the Hondarrabi zuri and Hondarrabi zuri zerratie vineyards. A young txakoli wine in which balance, freshness and harmony stand out... In addition, it pairs perfectly with the seafood that we offer you.
