p>Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus Albacares) is a migratory species. Its habitat is the Tropical and Ecuatorial seas and because of the abundance of the species is the fish most often used in preserves. Yellowfin tuna is similar to the Albacore Tuna but more yellowish; its meat is not so delicate and it’s less appreciated.

Once we have selected the best fishes, we cooked them and, following a meticulous and handmade process, the Yellowfin Tuna is prepared and packaged. The skill and experience acquired over five generations is the key of the exceptional taste and appearance of our preserves.

This preserve is elaborated using Yellowfin Tuna loins, which are covered with specially selected olive oil. This olive oil, with its intense flavour, adds a unique and exclusive aroma and taste to the Yellowfin Tuna.

One last practical tip: once you have opened the can or jar of Yellowfin Tuna, and in the very hypothetical case that you do not finish it, we recommend that you keep it in the fridge covered with its own coating, or failing that, with olive oil. And consume it within 3-4 days so that it retains all its properties.
