Our Cockles come from the cold waters of the Rías Gallegas. They have a delicate taste of the sea and a tender, succulent texture.

The starting point for the preparation consists in the selection of the cockles. Ours come from the Rías Gallegas and are harvested at their optimum moment and when they have reached the desired size. We only sell large cockles of excellent quality.

We take the cockles immediately after fishing to the factory for processing. We purify them in sea water from the Rías Gallegas, this is one of the differential points of our cockles in order to preserve their original flavour and properties. We are very demanding with the cleaning, which is always done manually, as is the subsequent canning.

Canned cockles are ideal as an aperitif, to accompany rice dishes and to make delicious recipes.

It is also important to highlight that our cockles are not only delicious, but also a nutritional gem; with a high content of iron, proteins and vitamin B12, they are perfect to reinforce vitality and take care of the organism in a natural and delicious way.

One last practical tip: once the can of Cockles has been opened, and in the very hypothetical case that you do not finish it, we recommend that you keep it in the fridge, cover it with its covering liquid and consume it within 24 hours so that it retains all its properties.
